The Player Character
The player character is an amnesiac cop who wakes up in a trashed hotel room with most of his gear missing due to his multi day bender.

- The Alcoholic: Depending on the players actions. Electrochemistry definitely wants the player to continue.
- Dirty Communist: Can internalize communist thoughts.
- Disco Dan: Can like Disco.
- I Have Many Names: Known by a large number of monikers, nicknames, etc.

Kim Kitsuragi
A more traditional lieutenant that meets the player character on the first day.

Evrart Clair
The leader of the dockworkers union at the time of the game. Evrart effectively runs Martinaise.

- Affably Evil: While evil is very subjective, Is nothing but polite and welcoming to the player character once they make it to his shipping container.
- Blatant Lies: Partakes in this occasionally, such as saying a weasel lives in the room he asks the player to break down.
- Cheshire Cat Grin: Sports one in his portrait.
- I Own This Town: Much of Martinaise is on his payroll, including potentially the player character.
- Large and In Charge: Fat, but very much in charge.
- The Spymaster: Is quickly informed of your actions, such as how you got into the harbor.
Measurehead
The racist bouncer who restricts entry to the harbor.
