Drag Me to Hell/Fridge

When I was first watching the film, I happened to notice a background detail in Christine's house: One of those oft-parodied motivational posters with a kitten hanging off a branch and the caption "Hang in there, baby!". I liked it as a background detail because it fit the character (she does have a kitten, and somehow it just seems appropriate that she'd have some Glurge Addict tendencies). Then I watched the movie again and realized it's a deliciously ironic bit of foreshadowing, given that her eventual fate is being pulled down into a literal hell pit.
