  • Nightmare Fuel: The dragons on the cover are quite simply, horrifying
  • Tear Jerker: When Kai found out that all the dragons in the Dragon Haven had been slaughtered, lets just say he was not pleased
    • Ping's tearful goodbye.
    • YMMV, but Hua leaving, even though it was very brief, actually brought this troper to tears.
  • The Woobie: Ping....Oh so much.
