Shown from the perspective of one of King Dedede's loyal minions, the fanfic is about King Dedede's desperate bid for revenge being foiled by Kirby, and how this mentally affects him. As all of Dedede's elite forces are defeated, the minion watches Dedede gradually become increasingly miserable.
