• Anvilicious - Violence is bad. Very very bad. Did we mention that it's bad?, because it's bad, very, very BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! (it's also bad).
• Crowning Moment of Awesome - Rushuna's crazy Gun Kata duel in the final episode is a shining example, although Yajiro gets one when he deflects a massive cannonball with a frickin' katana.
  • Yajiro's swordman skills are made even more apparent in the manga, where he overpowers his opponent who was using a rocket propelled katana. This means that if he had a mecha, he could quite possibly be the one of the few people who could best Zengar Zonvolt in battle.
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming - The very end of the manga, when the narration reveals that after Rushuna and Yajiro returned from her homeland, they got married. It becomes even more adorable when the narration ends, saying that Rushuna was "smiling like a sunflower."
• Evil Is Sexy: Setsuna.
• Magnificent Bastard - The Jester, who is more proactive than most.
