- Alternate Character Interpretation
- Awesome Music: It's rather common for the fight scenes to have awesome songs. Some musics used also tend to synchronize with certain moments during the battle.
- Character Focus: Amasawa Ikumi has the most amount of screentime in the entire series so far.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: Any climax battles, like EP 24 of AFM, Jin and Kaigen vs Violent Run-induced Ikumi
- Special mention goes to the final battle of NAM, Max vs Viper. Not quite as epic as what followed afterwards, but still a memorable moment at that time, since it was Viper's debut in MUGEN.
- The same can be said for NAMA's final battle. Viper vs Melira.
- Designated Hero: NAM, Max Reco. The series' most biggest Jerkass. He has shades of being an Anti-Hero at best.
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Amasawa Ikumi. She has more Character Development and screentime than the protagonist of AFM, Sakuya.
- Flanderization: To an extent, Max's Jerkass status can be considered as one, since he wasn't much of a Jerkass in NAM.
- Magnificent Bastard: Yukari and Viper can pull this off.
