James Gunn is an American filmmaker and screenwriter known for his sense of Black Comedy and wide array of films he made and written. He is also known for having Funny Animal characters in his works such as Scooby-Doo, Rocket Raccoon and King Shark. He started off by writing the two Scooby-Doo movies before writing the Dawn of the Dead remake. He directed his first film Slither in 2006 and followed it up with Super in 2010. He became more well-known for directing Guardians of the Galaxy, which is considered one of the better Marvel Cinematic Universe films. He would later direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 2017. He had some problematic Tweets recovered in 2018, leading to Marvel firing him. He shortly got rehired while he was working on The Suicide Squad, his first entry for the DC Extended Universe.
