Trivia about Lobo (web series) includes:
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The website went defunct in 2002. Fortunately, the episodes can be found on YouTube.
- Mid-Development Genre Shift: It was originally going to be a family-friendly Kids WB show but was changed to an adult-oriented web series because making a family-friendly version of Lobo was at best problematic.
- The Other Darrin:
- Greg Eagles replaced Brad Garrett, and was himself replaced by Kevin Michael Richardson in the sixth episode.
- Sunny Jim was originally voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, before being replaced by Tom Kenny in the third episode.
- Playing Against Type:
- Grey Griffin voices a character who casually swears, unlike most of her roles.
- For the DC cartoons of the early 2000s as a whole, this cartoon is the only adult-oriented entry in a (mostly) kid-friendly franchise.
- Relationship Voice Actor: Greg Eagles, Grey Griffin, Dee Bradley Baker, Tom Kenny and Kevin Michael Richardson have worked together in other cartoons and games.
- Talking to Themselves:
- Tom Kenny performs many, if not most, of the show's minor characters.
- Kevin Michael Richardson voices Lobo, Sniff, Slaz, Fat Whutzat and Mudboy.
- Grey Griffin voices Darlene and the Nutcracker Sisters.
- Dee Bradley Baker voices Sunny Jim for the first two episodes, as well as Tubo.
- Word of God: Boyd Kirkland confirmed that the cartoon doesn't take place in the DCAU.
