- Breakthrough Hit: Lunar: The Silver Star was Working Designs' first big success as a publisher.
- Follow the Leader: The prevalence of flutes and ocarinas in Zelda series may have had some influence on the decision to change Alex's instrument of choice from a harp (in The Silver Star) to an ocarina (in the remakes). Which makes it kind of ironic that Link acquired a magical harp in Oracle of Ages.
- Hey, It's That Voice!: In the PSP remake, Silver Star Harmony, the cast is like one big Tales (series) reunion.
- Killer App: Silver Star remained one of the best selling games for the Sega CD addon, both in Japan and the US.
