• Adaptation Displacement: The Disney Channel replaced the Benny Goodman score to "All the Cats Join In" with a different song, "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley, for its "DTV" interstitials in The Eighties. To this day, some people think "Rock Around the Clock" was there first, despite having come out 10 years later.

• Viewer Gender Confusion: While they are both referred to as hes, Sasha the woodpecker and Sonia the Duck could easily be mistaken for females, if just for their names. (To Westerners, at least; Sasha is a common male name in much of Europe, including Russia, where the story is set.)
