Although Jim may be a cynical asshole who makes fun of people online, it’s rather difficult to argue that he doesn’t respect and appreciate his fans, which is nice considering just how many YouTubers treat their audience like shit and view them as nothing more than a means to make money. He always tries to read off every super chat he gets during his streams, no matter what they contain, because he feels that is what he owes to people who pay him money. Even if you donate only a dollar to him on his Patreon, Jim makes it clear that is nonetheless thankful that you would donate money to support him and his work.
Any time a subject involving children getting hurt comes in, Jim will drop the funnyman persona and will rip apart the subject in question for harming said children.
