- Also from LEGO, Bionicle tends to use this a lot, combining Mechanical Lifeforms with Fantasy Kitchen Sink. One of the most memorable recent examples would be the Cyborg dinosaurs that shoot laser beams- sadly never released as sets.
- Pick a Super Sentai / Power Rangers robot. Chances are it's got at least two primary themes.
- Dino-Riders which has semi-mechanical dinosaurs piloted to save the world.
- Xevoz lent itself to this, as parts from any figures could be combined, also literally, as there were ninja, (skeleton) pirate, zombie (well, Frankenstein's monster), and several robot figures.
