Potion Master's Corner is a series of Harry Potter-themed Web Videos created by Joe Moses, in which he (as Professor Snape) interviews various members of Team Starkid. He doesn't ask many serious questions...
The videos can be found here.
Tropes used in Potion Master's Corner include:
- Alter Ego Acting: When interviewing Joe Walker (Voldemort/Umbridge) he let's it slip:
Snape: My guest, Mister Jimmy Walker. |
- Aside Glance: Loves these
- Bullying a Dragon: In the season finale, repeatedly attempts to goad 10-foot-tall Jim Pavolo (Goyle/Rumbleroar/Firenze) into fighting him. When Jim finally stands up, he shrieks and runs away.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Snape
- The Cuckoolander Was Right: After the URL exchange (see below) he asks Nicholas is he's from the Ural Mountains, which Matathia insists don't exist.
- Completely Missing the Point: Both Darren Criss and Nicholas Joseph Strauss-Matathia (Sirius) didn't really seem interested in playing along with the gag.
- Fridge Logic: When Snape tells Lauren Lopez that he has no budget, she points out that that means he has infinite amounts of money.
- Lame Comeback: After mistaking the URL address of Nicholas' Broadway page for his full name
NJSM: No, that's just the URL. |
- My Name Is Not Durwood: Never gets anyone's name right (at least not the first time).
- Product Placement: Played With in Joey Richter's interview. Snape is in a good mood because he had cookies for breakfast.
Joey: You mean like Cookie Crisp? |
