  • Ethnic Scrappy: Baba Looey hovers near the borders of this, but does not seem a particularly offensive example -- perhaps because he is obviously so much smarter than the *ahem* "white" horse Quick Draw.
  • Ho Yay: It's probably nothing more than narcissism, but Quick Draw and Horse-Face Harry, who look alike, will refer to the other as handsome or good-looking.
  • Periphery Demographic: When it first premiered the show was very popular amongst grown-ups as well as with kids. Same thing with Huckleberry Hound before that.
  • Woolseyism: The Latin American dub made this show very popular among Spanish speakers, which among other things, gives Baba Looey, known there as Pepe Trueno, a heavy Mexico City accent, and gives Quick-Draw, known as Tiro Loco, an American accent. In Spanish. Much funnier than the native English version.
