  • Fake American: Gary Oldman is a well known ticker, and Jay Baruchel (who is Canadian, although his character's nationality is not mentioned in movie). Less well-known; Abbie Cornish is an Australian.
  • Fake Nationality: Aside from Sellars and Mattox who are played by American actors, most of the main cast are not. Jae Kim (a Korean name) is played by Hispanic actress Aimee Garcia.
  • Fan Nickname: RoboCyclops, since the slimmer armor and glowing visor resemble Cyclops' signature ruby visor and his X-Men outfit in recent adaptations. RebootCop is another nickname with increasing acknowledgement.
