The following are Subjective Tropes relating to Robot Unicorn Attack.
- Colbert Bump: The game got even more plays when it was featured on an article in The Escapist. Similarly, the amount of people checking the original song out after they've heard it here is astonishing.
- Crowning Music of Awesome: See Ear Worm.
- Ear Worm: Oh, yes. The song's "Always (2009 Mix)" by Erasure, BTW.
- It's so catchy you're willing to forgive it for Rhyming With Itself in the first verse: "Open your eyes, I see / Your eyes are open / Wear no disguise for me / Come into the open".
- Family-Unfriendly Aesop: You can chase your dreams all you want; failure is inevitable.
