• Broken Base: Exactly what's going on in the Sonic 4 Episode 2 Forums right now.^[when?]
• Complaining About Games You Haven't Played: You can complain about a generally hated game while openly admitting you've never touched it in your life and odds are no one will say anything. You can also try to side step the trope by only complaining about things you can watch on a video. Finally, you can be accused of this if you're complaining about a generally well liked game.
• Crack Pairing: Arguing with someone for long enough will get people to start shipping you with that person.
• Fan Dumb: Fans who claim that only a Sonic Adventure 3 can save the Sonic franchise, people who blindly criticize/praise a game while "forgetting" to mention the positives/negatives.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Happens a lot for characters.
• Memetic Mutation: Oh so many... Roger the Porcupine, Boost to Win, The Barrel, the list goes on.
