The guys who make Playstation.
The company stands as possibly the largest first-party developers on any of the big 3 console manufactors, with studios throughout the world.
Studios include:
- Japan Studio/SCEJ - Loco Roco, Patapon, White Knight Chronicles (alongside Level 5)
- Polyphony Digital - Gran Turismo Series,Warhawk (1995 video game) (2007)
- Naughty Dog - Since the merger: Jak and Daxter, Uncharted series
- Santa Monica Studio - God of War
- San Diego Studio - The Mark of Kri,Pain,Modnation Racers (PSP),Sports Champions
- Studio Liverpool (aka Psygnosis) - Wipeout
- Studio London and Cambridge - Singstar
- Bigbig Studios - Pursuit Force, Motorstorm Arctic Edge
- Guerilla Games - Killzone
- Evolution Studios - Motorstorm series
- Media Molecule - Little Big Planet series
They also got a lot of infamy with their 2006 E3 conference, which included $600 price tag of the PlayStation 3 (the highest MSRP since the Neo Geo and the 3DO), and the Memetic Mutation resulting in naming four tropes:
