A cruel woman who runs the [[Orphanage of Fear|Honorhall Orphanage]], she's so abusive that her charges are actually trying to contact the [[Carnival of Killers|Dark Brotherhood]] in order to get rid of her, and mistake the Dragonborne for one of them. You aren't (yet) but it's pretty easy to help them, as Grelod doesn't fare very well against someone who can fight back. Of course, while ''she'' isn't much, getting rid of her starts a far-darker questline involving the ''real'' Dark Brotherhood...
