* Russian segment of [[LiveJournal]] once tried to pull it in the "best" American [[You Can Panic Now|Moral Panic]] style, with a deranged spearhead to look "moderate" in comparison and use as a scapegoat if things go too wrong. They had bad luck with it: before it gained much momentum, their trailblazer psycho ran with the standard "anyone who defends a witch is a witch" schtick straight into a member of Runet equivalent of [[Kibo]]logy. Which is to say, someone not easily impressed by internet lunatics, let alone intimidated. This helped to quickly attract a lot of attention to the whole affair - right at the part where the facts are being dug out and paraded, such as: this dude has a wife older than him, while Mrs. Psycho was divorced from a husband almost half her age. Naturally, [[Hilarity Ensues|much finger pointing and howling laughter ensued]]. And, of course, it became obvious that the "abuse team" sorta kind supports a crackdown, but is willing to be wonderfully tolerant and understanding when the rabid ones harass other users, which helped to start one more wave of [[Start My Own|exodus to other services]].
