Star Jewel is a Hentai OVA released in 2011. The plot revolves are goddess of light and dark. The dark ones try to steal jewels from innocents, while the light ones do their best to stop this.

This being a Hentai, only one thing tends to work, and since the cast is all female, that means they have to double as men where it counts when need be to accomplish it.

Tropes used in Star☆Jewel include:

  • Anime Hair: Technicolor hair and hair that has impossibly stiff and stylized looks to it abounds for every named member of the cast.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: The goddesses have a flower-like vessel for holding crystals inside their chests, complete with petals.
  • Celestial Paragons and Archangels: While the script would call them goddesses, they resemble and actual more like the hentai equivalent of angels and fallen angels in practice, even referring to a higher deity they are subordinate to.
  • God: Exists, but is never seen.
  • Left Hanging: Just the plot gets interesting, nay, established, the anime ends, even though it was clearly left on a continuance note.
  • Futanari: A standard trait of the heroes and villains, which they can turn on and off at will even.
  • Our Angels Are Different: Called "goddesses", part of an apparent hierarchy, and there are good and evil versions. Also, it seems they are actual Human Aliens trying to prevent their evil kin from stealing what more or less amounts to souls to power a spacecraft that can let their evil brethren make their way back to their home planet, an outcome the good ones want to avert.
  • Prequel: Has another hentai OVA that follows the origins of main character Natsumi Kanno in her younger years.
  • Theme Naming: All the characters have last names starting with "K".
