Welcome to Starlight Animal Rescue, where problem horses are trained and loved, where abandoned dogs become heroes, where stray cats become loyal companions, and where people with nowhere to fit in find a place to belong.
Starlight Animal Rescue is a novel by Dandi Daley Mackall. The books follow four protagonists, Dakota, Wes, Kat and Hank. Dakota and Hank are the horse people, Wes is the dog boy, and Kat is the cast girl. They're the adoptive kids of "Popeye" and Annie.
