There are literally hundreds of public domain and Creative Commons licensed images of Cinderella. Why are we using a copyrighted image from TV Tropes?
Talk:Cinderella (fairy tale)
Because we have tens of thousands of images from the fork that we're only now getting partway through? I second the implied call for a change in image.
Let's open this up, then. Which image from the above set of lists do people like?
Do we want Ella in the cinders? Do we want her running away from the ball (the way we do now)? Do we want her being fitted with the slipper? Do we want something else?
Hm. After a quick survey of the category, I find myself leaning toward Trying on the slipper - Sarah Noble Ives.jpg or Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother.jpg. (I actually quite like the look of Askepott - Cinderella (34448625135).jpg as well, but it doesn't say "Cinderella" distinctively enough.)
I like w:File:Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother.jpg, too.
So... Should we replace the current image with that particular image?
My vote is cast already. Someone else will have to weigh in, prefereably several someones else.
I like too the one with the Fairy Godmother
We have a few yes votes, no no votes. Change it?
Change it. Changing it now.
