Launchable ... barely

And we already have pages in the Main namespace pointing at it. Let's just clean this up and get it out there.

This trope will need a different name. Impossible Mission is the name of a Commodore 64 game that was actually quite famous back in the day.

GethN7 (talkcontribs)

Actually, we just need to disambiguate the two by adding a qualifer to the end like (trope) to the end of the trope page, (video game) to the video game page, and have a central disambiguation page to redirect to the right page for those using the vanilla name.

Unlike TV Tropes, it's very easy to do this in MediaWiki. :)

Still, it's something that's best avoided when avoiding it is so easy.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

No, it isn't; there's no gain in changing an obvious name for a major trope to avoid a collision with an obscure niche game. Besides, we already have links elsewhere in the wiki to this trope name. If we're talking pure effort, measured solely by count of keystrokes involved, it would be far more work to hunt them all down and change them than to add "(video game)" to the end of the work name.

As one-third of the Magi, I vote "no".
