I see that @Looney Toons added the "Esoteric Trope Names" tag to this page, and I have to agree - this trope has nothing to do with horse racing.

IMHO, the page quote by Buster Keaton offers an alternative name.

Does anyone object to changing the page name from "The Last Horse Crosses the Finish Line" to "The Slow Thinker"?

Not I... although I honestly don't think being tagged with "Esoteric Trope Names" should be an automatic flag for a name change. I like to think of it as celebrating some of our distinctive quirkiness.
