Template:Supertrope list
{{supertrope list}} displays a list of subtropes, intended to be used on the supertrope's page.
Site Organization
So in organizing our categories, we have a flow like this:
- Top level container categories -- categories that only have other categories in them
- Topical categories -- categories that have some pages, and also some other subpages
- Supertropes -- ordinary wiki pages with examples, but also with some more specific subtropes
- (Sub-)Tropes -- normal wiki pages that list works
- Supertropes -- ordinary wiki pages with examples, but also with some more specific subtropes
- Topical categories -- categories that have some pages, and also some other subpages
This template is intended to be used on the Supertrope pages, so that we can list out subtropes above the examples, without putting it in the category hierarchy.
Usage
Do: {{supertrope list|category name here}}
For example, {{supertrope list|Courtroom Antic Tropes}}
produces:
This is the Super-Trope to the following tropes:
To change the text it displays before the list, add another parameter, like {{supertrope list|Courtroom Antic Tropes|How do you like them antics?}}
