- Alternative Character Interpretation: The previous good witch: Was she really so jaded and apathetic that she just didn't care if she was giving the title to a to a worthy person OR did she give Angel that power knowing EXACTLY what she would do with it in order to exact her revenge on a world that used her until there was nothing left?
- Or maybe every Good Witch goes through a phase like Angel's and then spends a lifetime desperately trying to make up for it...
- Non Sequitur Scene: A musical number, in a webcomic.
- Two musical numbers, in fact.
- Family-Unfriendly Aesop: Invoked. Just because Angel was a transwoman doesn't make her the slightest bit sympathetic, but that also ties into Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped by showing transpeople to simply be ordinary people who aren't defined by being trans.
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: What happens to most of Angel's victims definitely fall into this category.
- Several of the people that Angel turned into clothing are still sentient and try to plead for help. But no one can hear them.
- Moral Event Horizon: Turning a random police officer into a stuffed toy. Everything before that was understandable or could be excused, but that was just pointless cruelty. Indeed, after that Angel just goes hog wild with her powers.
- Unfortunate Implications: Suffers from the same problems that The Wotch does, if not worse because it's far more sinister and subtle about it. But this series is a Darker and Edgier take on The Wotch, so that may be intentional.
- Angel spent her time knowing exactly how much it hurt to be in a body that didn't feel right. Yet she casually inflicts the same thing on normal cisgendered guys.
- The original Good Witch could read Angel's soul. Angel turns out to be a pretty obvious sociopath. What that implies for the previous Witch...
- Villain Sue The protagonist is evil and she has reality warping abiites, with no real treath.
