All-Star Cast: For starters we have Matthew Broderick and Dustin Hoffman as the two heroes, Despereaux and Roscuro. Emma Watson provides voice for Princess Pea. Others include William H. Macy, Kevin Kline, Christopher Lloyd, Ciaran Hinds, Stanley Tucci, and Frank Langella.
Hey, It's That Voice!:
- Despereaux's dealt with humungous monsters before.
- Miggery Sow is quite appropriately, Latrine.
- The narrator once narrated the ship's computer.
- Princess Pea is HERMIONE!
- The executioner was Doc Brown.
- And Roscuro is Shifu!
Recursive Adaptation: There is now a book based on the film which is based on the original book.
