  • Complete Monster: Bernard Loredo from the second game. As if it's not bad enough that he provoked a pogrom against the non-humans in Flotsam, he also captured an elven woman and likely raped/drugged/tortured/traumatized her so much she was suicidal and didn't know what month it was. While most people think that she was killed by monsters, she’s still alive and imprisoned in Loredo’s mansion. And pregnant...
    • Henselt doesn't seem so bad when you first meet him. Then there's what happens to the Blue Stripes in the Roche path, and especially Ves.
  • Fan Disservice: There's an Optional Sexual Encounter. A nice romantic bath with soft lighting and lots of roses all around, a gorgeous girl, a really cool stripping scene... followed immediately, just so you don't get too excited, by a close-up shot of a corpse with flies buzzing around it.
  • Fan Dumb: Some players have complained about the second game's moral options, claiming that the game only has evil choices, and that most of Geralt's potential allies are villains. The concept of moral ambiguity goes right over some people's heads, it seems.
  • Game Breaker: The one from the previous game, the Igni Sign had been nerfed, but Aard and Quen (and even Axii to a point) can easily reach this level.
    • Bombs. You can make a load of them and just chuck them out like candies. Works especially well on bosses, even better if you brought the skill that multiplies the damage dealt by 100%. And the fact they just need two most common alchemy ingredients makes it all easier.
  • Magnificent Bastard: Letho shades of it. He doesn't look like a type to be one, though.
