- And the Fandom Rejoiced: Fans of The Rift rejoiced when TWIYEH comic was announced. Fans of Cuanta Vida rejoiced when it was revealed that several of its characters would appear in it, and then again when Sin Pararse was announced. They're a pretty jolly bunch.
- Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Caine, although it's not taken seriously.
- Shipping Wars: Parodied (?) on the forums, with Cayler (Caine/Tyler, the satyr/bouncer at Carmilla's club) vs. Caian (Ian/Caine).
- Wham! Episode: The killer of the Nai'ka girl is Jeremy's room-mate, Miguel...who happens to re-use the same character design as the villain from Cuanta Vida, Rojo.
