Just Here for Godzilla: Great argument can be made that most people just want to see Chris Pine and Tom Hardy together in one movie, regardless of the why. Still, some women do like Reese Witherspoon a lot.
Unfortunate Implications: Many professional and amateur reviewers focused entirely on the escalating fights between the spies, especially how they're going entirely behind Lauren's back and installing surveillance in her house so they can find out things she likes faster. One reviewer on Mother Jones noted that Lauren tells her friend how happy she is she'd in charge of her love life, when it's supposed to be ironic in that she's not and the spies are fighting behind her back, some people felt it came off more as "silly woman, you have no idea what's going on!"
- Other reviewers were just mad that it's an old "two guys fight over a girl while the girl is oblivious" without any charm, period.
What an Idiot!: The bully at Tuck's son's karate class. Clearly, he must have been blind because Tuck is solid muscle and loves his son dearly--two deadly combinations.
