Tiger Cruise/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The flag-unfurling at the end.
  • Growing the Beard: Not like the beard kept growing, but it's easily the most emotionally heavy Disney Channel movie to date.
  • Nightmare Fuel: When 9/11 rolls around, the atmosphere grows extremely tense as expected, but the uncertain and fearful looks on the passengers and the crew makes it rather unnerving to watch.
  • Tear Jerker: Oh, yes.
  • What Do You Mean It's Not Political?: Duh. After all, it is a children's film about 9/11. Quite a few people have argued that the film promotes a militaristic, Americentrist view on the War On Terror. Other say that it is a mere promotional ad for the US Navy. Granted, the film does have traces of both. It's nevertheless pure Flame War Fuel.
