I was on the star wars character page and it seems cluttered in that it's so long. Is it allowable for me to separate the protagonists, antagonists, and other characters into separate pages by category. Is it also possible to give certain characters their own page because they are so popular and tend to have lots written about them for the sake of simplicity.For example giving Darth Vader his own page and making pages for things like The Sith Order, Jedi Order, and Other force users and beings.

Amazingly enough, I just made a similar proposal to the other moderators two weeks ago - the only reason that I haven't done this yet is a lack of time. Feel free to make subcategories - just please put each category into the parent category.
If I may offer a bit of advice, create your pages and move content into them before deleting anything from the original page. We had someone a year or so back who decided to do something similar for another work, and started by completely blanking the original page and creating a dozen or so blank subpages, then stopping there for a while. We weren't happy with what appeared at the time to be vandalism, and when we finally got it straightened out, it still took the guy literally months to finish the job.
I'll start by just organizing the character page. On an aside. I just did it but I keep getting a database error. i save my changes into a word file. Should I send it. It's not saving my changes for review.
