A bit of advice for you

I've noticed that you've been massively overcoding/potholing some of your links. For instance, I came across this just a moment ago on A Nazi by Any Other Name:

[[The Human Centipede|''The Human Centipede'']]

This is way more than is necessary. All you have to do is this:

''[[The Human Centipede]]''

There is nothing that the former does that the latter doesn't do, in fewer keystrokes. Save yourself the effort -- and save the mods the effort of cleaning up after you, because we are going to change it anyway -- code it the simpler way.

That's a quirk of how changes made in the visual editor are converted to code when saving or switching to Source mode - not at all Henery's fault or anyone's, as I'm sure you've discovered. I figured as much when I started spotting this and thought it'd be no big deal to make the necessary adjustments myself.

Sorry, the new editing system is hard to get used to.

I think I wrote the name of the work, then used the link icon. Or something.

Yeah, I noticed that somehow the optional visual editing got turned on for me, too. If you want to shut it off and do source editing only (which is what I prefer), go to "Preferences" in the menu next to your user name at the top of the page, go the the "Beta Features" tab, and turn off "Visual Editing" by unchecking it and saving. If for some reason it's already unchecked (it was for me), check it, save, then uncheck and save. That should do it.

Ah, thanks.

You can also just click the "Edit source" option that should show up next to "Edit" at the top of the page - I personally like to go between the two when it isn't too much trouble, though I save any link italicizing for Source Mode.
