Fridge Brilliance
- Bertie is shown to sometimes pluck out her feathers when she's anxious. Plucking is a common symptom of birds suffering stress.
Fridge Horror
- Speckle gets hopped up on plant spores because his future brother-in-law attempts to steal a cutting from the mayor of the tourist town they visit, and he comes to the realization that the guy is a delinquent and criminal in the making. He uses his last high moments to warn Bertie and Dottie that his sister is marrying a "crime lord", but doesn't remember what happened when the spores wear off. Dottie may not be in for a happy marriage.
