... but please note that you deleted (accidentally or otherwise) the required page type template {{work}} from the first line of the page skeleton. (Or you didn't use a skeleton and simply didn't add it.) A moderator had to go in and add it in order that the page would be properly integrated functionally and stylistically with the rest of the wiki. In the future please be careful about this -- the pagetype template is perhaps the single most important bit of markup on the page -- it's responsible for the page menu and a number of key categories, as well as a fair amount of behind-the-scenes automation that makes the wiki work.

Oh, ok, I understand it, sorry. When I had finished of crating the page, I clicked in "preview" to see a preview of the page before of sending it to moderation and I didn't see any bug in the preview, but it's true that I don't understand all the wiki format. I'll try to avoid this errors in a future.

The preview feature doesn't really flag any errors, even flaws in the basic MediaWiki markup. It just doesn't show you what you thought you coded when you make a mistake. It certainly doesn't know anything about the raft of templates and other features we've created to simplify page design and creation. Don't use it as an error check except in the simplest sense.

We've got a collection of tools ranging from the "New" button on every page to the Page Creator that will, if you use them, handle 90% of the technical bits of page creation for you. Under most circumstances that should be all you need. We also have a number of instructional pages in the project namespace -- starting with All The Tropes:Style Guide, All The Tropes:Our Custom Templates, All The Tropes:Works Page Guidelines, All The Tropes:Trope Workshop Guidelines and the like -- which will walk you through how we do things here, both on the content level and on the code level. Just follow their advice and don't be afraid to ask for help, and everything should be fine. And like it says in several places around here, you'll never get in trouble for an honest mistake.

Ok, I understand, thank you.

And like it says in several places around here, you'll never get in trouble for an honest mistake.

One of those places is All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here, where we specifically say that you cannot be banned for making an honest mistake. (If you refuse to learn from your mistakes, that's another matter... but so far you're promising to learn from your mistakes.)

I did read that, but thank you too. I will try to do better at next times.
