... for two reasons:
- While the list of productions itself is not protected by copyright, being a collection of facts, the entries you added to the list included descriptive text about them which originated on TV Tropes -- including one with a very distinctive grammar error. This is copyright infringement as the material postdates the fork and TV Tropes' subsequent change of license in 2012. Because All The Tropes and TV Tropes run under different Creative Commons licenses, content created there after 2012 cannot legally be used, no matter the size of the excerpt -- any amount of text, regardless of how small, which can be identified as originating on TVT is infringement.
- Your edit also included changes which appear to be symptomatic of a known problem whereby the Visual Editor will corrupt the source of a page. This isn't your fault, of course, but we need to reject the edit to protect the page content.
Please feel free to re-add the additional works to the list on this page, either without descriptive comments, or with new text entirely of your making. You may want to check out these pages before you do so:
We suggest you make your edits using the Source Editor ("Edit source" on the menu found at the top of the page in most skins) to eliminate the chance of further random corruption by the visual editor.
Finally we strongly recommend that you also read All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. We want you to be aware that unlike TVT, we do not ban users on whims or because we're cranky. But we'd like to emphasize that "Falsely representing oneself as having the right to authorize copying content from TV Tropes" is one of the very few ways there are to earn an immediate permaban here at ATT.
