We Love Cold War!! The Anime is a short 4:01 long animation released on the web on April 10, 2024 about two agents on opposite sides of the Cold War. It was produced by Nico Jiang Animeworks.

Tropes used in We Love Cold War!! The Anime include:
- Blasting It Out of Their Hands: Valerie manages to shoot a handgun with her sniper rifle, breaking it.
- Defcon Five: Averted in that things go from relatively calm at DEFCON 5 to Thermonuclear War at DEFCON 1.
- Every Car Is a Pinto: An East German police car flies back and explodes after being struck by a hail of bullets.
- Pin-Pulling Teeth: Valerie does this while riding a motorcycle. The grenade is of the "potato-masher" variety, so the string pull is more realistic than the pin pull.
- Secret Police: Valerie was once a member of the Stasi HVA, and has managed to join the KGB during the animation.
- Shout Out: The communists use a Batsignal inspired hammer and sickle in the sky to summon Valerie.
- World War III: The ending, as the two agents battle in space as city lights down on earth are extinguished as warheads fly.
