Started October 7, 2010, Webtoon Live (archived) was created for the express purpose of translating and hosting Korean Webtoons, a subgenre of manhwa that is the equivalent of Western webcomics. It was made by fans for fans and hosted over 70 webtoons, including popular titles such as Noblesse, Trace, Tower of God, and Orange Marmalade. Along with its archives, the site had forums that discuss webtoons, Korean culture, Manga and Anime, and other fan interests.

The website was acquired by Tapastic, on November 2014.
