Examples of Beyond the Impossible in Newspaper Comics include:

  • Beetle Bailey:
    • If the General has a headache and Sergeant Snorkel ORDERS you to fire a cannon quietly, then you fire it quietly.
    • Beetle is slower than everyone else even when parachuting down from a plane.
  • In one FoxTrot strip, Jason is trying to build a Time Machine and asks Peter (who is known to Drive Like Crazy) if he can manage to drive the station wagon at warp speed. Peter remarks that he couldn't possibly manage a MPR speed measured in nine figures, as he's "only flirted with four".
