Charlie Fairhead
Charlie is the longest serving member of the Casualty team, having appeared from 1986–2004, 2005–2007 and 2008 onwards.

- Only Sane Employee: Sometimes he fits this trope.
- Put on a Bus: Done out of spite by Ruth.
Kath/Cath
A blonde nurse who has frequently appeared in bed/medical room scenes since 2008.
Associated tropes:
- Ascended Extra: Got named around mid-2009.
- Fan Service: Not used for this, but nonetheless is considered to be, albeit in a non-sexual way.
- Mean Character, Nice Actor/Nice Character, Mean Actor: Averted. Although we have nothing from the production team about her character. But we have heard that the actress is a nice person. Not that we know much about the actress other than her popularity, but still.
- Ms. Fanservice: And how
- No Name Given: Well, not named (for the actress) in the end-credits anyway...
- Running Gag: Always in Resus scenes.
- Sixth Ranger: Albeit a voiceless one, but often in main scenes.
- The Voiceless: Does not get a chance to speak though.
