• Hey, It's That Guy!: One of the Maori specialists is Sauron / Witch-King / Gothmog / Random Orc from The Lord of the Rings. Though you probably won't recognize him.
  • Wes and Eric are Alexander the Great and a random enemy soldier, respectively.
  • It's no surprise that Terence Rotolo knows about Roman Centurions. He's covered wars, y'know.
    • Mr. Rotolo shows up again as one of Roosevelt's Rough Riders.
  • It's Academy Award winner Jeff Daniels playing George Washington. Doubly awesome, because Daniels had already played Washington before in a TV movie called The Crossing. By far the most well-known person to have shown up here.

  • David Hernandez, Pirate Expert of Season 1, was a Medellin Cartel thug in Season 2. He's ironically killed by a modern Somali Pirate.
  • Jason Nguyen, the Mongol Expert from Season 2, returns in Season 3 as Ghengis Khan himself.
  • Ardeshir Radpour, a Persian Immortal expert from Season 2, portrays Hernan Cortes in Season 3.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: The narrator is David Wenham, who played Faramir in The Lord of the Rings and Dilios/the narrator in 300. He is credited under the pseudonym Drew Skye, though.
