Drain is a creator-owned comic by writer C.B. Cebulski, painted by Sana Takeda and published by Image Comics. Originally running between November 2006 and March 2008, the first story arc of six issues was published. More story arcs were planned, but depended on a new artist being found for the project, so the comic has been on hiatus since 2008.
The plot of the comic follows Chinatsu, an immortal vampire from Japan. She searches for her family's killer, and her vampire sire. She mercilessly searches throughout many time periods and centuries in order to exact her revenge.
Tropes used in Drain include:
- Dead Little Sister
- Japanese Vampire
- Lesbian Vampire
- Our Vampires Are Different
- Vampire Detective Series
