Crosses the Line Twice: About 80% of the movie does this.
Crowning Music of Awesome: The entire film, really, but special props go to playing Pink Floyd when Peter and Ethan got stoned.
Funny Aneurysm Moment: Aw... Look, Ethan got on Two and A Half Men, too bad it got canned.
- Actually it didn't but the famous incident with Charlie Sheen, who is in the Two and A Half Men scene shown keeps this trope valid.
HSQ: It starts with "Did that guy on the plane just shoot Robert Downey Jr?!" and just gets even crazier as the movie continues.
Squick: On two accounts: one, the scene in the car before Ethan goes to sleep; two, when Peter, Ethan, and Darryl accidentally ingest Ethan's father.
Tear Jerker: Surprisingly, there are several moments.
- When Peter describes what happened to his father. (Although Ethan instantly ruins it by being Cloudcuckoolander and laughing at him.)
- When Ethan "acts" that his wife wants a divorce and begs her to not leave him like his dad did.
- When Ethan drops the ashes on the carpet in Darryl's kitchen. Peter's quiet consoling makes it all the more emotionally gut-wrenching.
- When Ethan finally scatters his Dad's ashes.
- You got a little stuffy at the end of the coffee scene, admit it.
