These things about Grand Theft Auto V are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Approval of God: Shawn Fonteno, the former rapper and actor who played Franklin, reuploaded a parody video of his character being roasted by Kermit the Frog, showing his approval of the meme. Lamar actor Slink Johnson also voiced his approval in an Instagram post. The two actors later went on to perform a live-action re-enactment of the now infamous roast scene.
  • Memetic Mutation: The infamous "Lamar roasts Franklin" scene where Lamar Davis berates his friend Franklin for his haircut and relationship with Tanisha saw a surge in popularity in late 2020, where countless remixes and parodies of the scene were uploaded on YouTube and other video sharing sites. While some of them merely dub new dialogue over Lamar and/or crudely superimpose someone else's face or body over Lamar, the more popular videos had Lamar's character model replaced with various pop culture icons, among them Kermit the Frog, SpongeBob, Darth Vader and even Snow White of all people!
