Hideyuki Kikuchi is a Japanese Horror writer. He is quite famous, having created the Vampire Hunter D series, and other titles like Wicked City, Demon City Shinjuku, and A Wind Named Amnesia.
Well known for his love of monster movies, Kikuchi uses a very interesting style of horror, often utilizing things like Cosmic Horror, Our Monsters Are Different, and plenty of Rule of Cool for his main heroes.
