- Creator Worship: And how. Dollhouse was renewed for a second season despite low ratings because network executives knew they would receive fifty thousand emails from Whedon's decidedly vocal and devoted fanbase if it were canceled.

- Tear Jerker: Damn you and your writing talent, Joss Whedon!
- The Woobie: Several examples stick out, such as Willow and River, but really, if a series goes on for long enough, EVERYBODY becomes one of these near the end. Joss is not nice to his characters.
