LittleJayneyCakes provides examples of the following tropes:

From her Originals:

[You said] That we'd get married when we both get older.

  • Depression: The subject of "Monster".
  • Evil Laugh/Laughing Mad: "Smoke and Mirrors" (the singer), it's written down in the video and not in the audio of the song.
  • Follow Your Heart: The subject of "Be(Love) Yourself".
  • Indecipherable Lyrics: The background vocals in "Smoke and Mirrors", from 3:33 to 3:38, are pretty much smothered by the main lyrics. However, if you extrapolate the fact that everywhere else the background vocals echoes the lyrics shortly before it, that narrows it down. It's more coherent if you are wearing headphones.
  • Men Don't Cry: The singer in "Smoke and Mirrors" berates the listen for crying.

C'MON WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
QUIT YOUR CRYING, BE A MAN![2]

I never got the chance to say
ǵò͟ơ̷d̀b̨͟y̵͠e̛͢

I couldn't breathe
I felt my heart -
it shattered right in my chest.
(Can't go back)
I never had the guts to say...

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.

  • No Name Given: None of the characters in "Smoke and Mirrors" have their name revealed.
  • Obsession Song: "Smoke and Mirrors", the lyrics in the video are in a custom font that fits it pretty well.
  • Pun-Based Title: "Be(Love) Yourself", a pun on "Believe Yourself".
  • Unwanted Rescue: In "Smoke and Mirrors", the sweetheart as evidenced by his crying, doesn't seem happy about being "saved" from his relationship with his significant other. Especially because it involved said girl getting killed.
  • Yandere: The singer in "Smoke and Mirrors".
