Magic Mike is an upcoming[when?] 2012 comedy film directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, based on the latter's experiences as a male stripper.
- Based on a True Story
- Character Title: Named after Channing Tatum's character, obviously.
- Mr. Fanservice: Basically, the film version of this trope.
- No Name Given: "The Kid".
- The Obi-Wan: Mike is this to The Kid.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Erm, Big Dick Richie.
- Shirtless Scene: In a film about male strippers?!
- Spear Counterpart: Many speculate that it will be this to Showgirls, but by the look of things, this one is actually supposed to be funny.
- Xtreme Kool Letterz: The name of the strip joint is Xquisite.
