Miraculous Ladybug/Tear Jerker

Adrien's whole life is this. For majority of his life, he's kept locked away from the whole world by his abusive father thanks to his mother dying.
- YMMV but this also counts for him as Chat as well. He finally gets the chance to be free, but he's constantly sidelined to his partner (both in and out of universe), whom he loves. Not only is his feelings not returned for majority of the show, but Ladybug is shown to treat him quite harshly at times.
This happens in the theme song alone. At the near end when Chat turns back into Adrien, he looks down depressed. It's unclear if it's because Ladybug won't return his feelings or because he has to go back to an unhappy life. Whatever it is, it's not good for Adrien.
Not only is Hawk Moth's akumatizations scary for the people involved but he essentially takes advantage of vulnerable time in the person's life and makes them do horrible things.

Aurore losing the weather competition with Alec rubbing it in her face. Also she swings her parasol at the akuma when it comes for her shows she didn't want to hurt people over it.

Adrien spending his birthday alone is a huge one, with Gabriel denying him a party. Even Nathalie seems to feel sorry for him.
Nino gets rudely rejected by Gabriel to give Adrien a birthday party and gets akumatized on his behalf.
Everyone is forced to be at Adrien's party and dance.
Adrien trying to enjoy himself. A particular moment for both him and Rose is him telling Rose it's his first party and her briefly smiling and giving him a thumbs up before going back to pitiful dancing. It's clear she does feel sorry for him but that doesn't mean she has to like what's going on either.
When Ladybug and Chat are captured in a bubble, Ladybug argues for the adults. Chat is downcast but ultimately decides to bring the adults back.
Nathalie removing Marinette's sticky note from her present, even she looks a little guilty for doing so.
Apparently Gabriel just gives Adrien pens (assuming they are from him and not Nathalie passing them off as gifts from his father), Marinette's scarf was the first real present he's had in years.

At the near end of the episode, Marinette doubts she's a good Ladybug. Thankfully, Tikki convinces her otherwise.

Even before the conflict begins, Alya and Nino are suffering the unintended consequences of Marinette and Adrien being superheroes. Thankfully for Adrien, Nino doesn't seem to mind as much as Alya does.
When Alya gets wrongfully suspended, you can hear her sniffling as she runs out of the school. It can be hard to miss in the English dub, but you can audibly hear it in other dubs. The kicker is when she goes to Marinette but for some reason she doesn't pick up, and that's when the waterworks come out and Hawk Moth takes advantage.
